City of joy- Kolkata

Known as the intellectual and cultural city of India, Kolkata is a blend of ancient and spiritual India. Kolkata served as the capital of India during the British Raj until 1911 and till date retains colonial-era architecture and heritage. One can find some of India’s finest museums, galleries and colonial buildings, from Dalhousie Square to grand imperial buildings, Chowringhee Mansions to Victoria Memorial.
