‘Sacred and Spiritual North India’ is a combination of a religious India travel package and a yoga travel package, giving you an opportunity to visit the most famous destinations of North India. This spiritual India tour of ours commences from the capital city of India, Delhi. We then let you travel to Varanasi and Khajuraho to witness the famous Ganga Aarti and the finely carved erotic temples. The part of the Varanasi trip also lets you enjoy a boat ride in the river Ganges. Designed for those who want a soulful expedition, for the ones who find joys in finer details of life and for those who just want to experience the beauty of it, this makes for a great yoga tour as one can indulge in yoga session in Rishikesh. This journey will let you witness ancient cities, sacred rivers, and places and also experience religious ceremonies and meet fellow devotees.

Trip will unfold as:

Day 1

Delhi

Arrive at Delhi Airport. The Cloud Itineraries representative escorts you to the pre-booked hotel for staying overnight. You would have the rest of the day free to explore the city or just relax at the hotel.

Day 2

Delhi

Post breakfast, leave for a long tour through the capital city. Start with the striking red sandstone beauty Red Fort and witness the alleys of Chandni Chowk with a rickshaw ride. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi's memorial, drive through Luteyan’s Delhi including India Gate, a cenotaph commemorating Indian martyrs, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit the Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3

Delhi

Leave for a full day tour of temples after breakfast. You would be covering Chhatarpur Temple, built in marble dedicated to goddess Katyayani; Akshardham Temple, largest Hindu temple in the world; Lakshminarayan Temple, known popularly as Birla Mandir and Lotus Temple, a unique Bahai faith temple.

Day 4

Delhi- Varanasi (Flight)

After breakfast, catch a flight to Varanasi and check-in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the banks of the river Ganges for the famous Ganga Aarti.

Day 5

Varanasi

Enjoy a boat ride on river Ganges and then return to hotel for breakfast. In the afternoon, city tour of Varanasi after which proceed to Sarnath, a religious Buddhist site.

Day 6

Varanasi- Khajuraho (Flight)

Post breakfast, leave for the airport and fly to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, explore the famous Khajuraho temples. These 25 temples are grouped into three categories depending on their orientation- the Western Group of Temples, the Eastern Group of Temples and the Southern Group of Temples. These temples are dedicated to several Hindu Gods and Goddesses along with deities in Jain beliefs. In the evening, enjoy a light and sound show to understand the history, facts and myths of the Khajuraho temples.

Day 7

Khajuraho- Agra (Train)

After breakfast transfer to the train station to continue to Agra. Arrive Agra and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8

Agra

Start your day with a visit Taj Mahal, a white mausoleum, one of the world's seven wonders. Built in pristine white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later in the day visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb whose design even outshines the Taj! Shop around for exclusive specialties at the Local Bazaar. Return to the hotel.

Day 9

Agra- Delhi- Dehradun- Rishikesh (240 kms/4 hrs & Flight & 45 kms/90 mins.)

In the morning, leave Agra to proceed to Delhi by road and fly to Dehradun. From Delhi, drive to Rishikesh. Rest of the day is free.

Day 10

Rishikesh

Start your day with a private yoga session to rejuvenate your tired mind, body and soul. Later in the day, explore the town at your own pace, visit the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula and enjoy shopping at the local markets and in the evening, visit the banks of the river Ganges for the famous Ganga Aarti.

Day 11

Rishikesh- Haridwar- Rishikesh (20 kms/40 mins. one way)

Drive to Haridwar in the morning. Visit the Chandi Devi Temple located at a hilltop, which is accessible, by cable car and Mansa Devi Temple, dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi. In the evening attend the wonderful Ganga Aarti by the riverbank at Har ki Pauri. Return back to Rishikesh for night stay.

Day 12

Rishikesh- Delhi (240 kms/ 5-6 hrs)

In the morning have breakfast and leave for Delhi by road. After arriving, head straight to the airport to board the onward flight.
